Vassilis Vassiliadis was born in 1963 in Heraklion, Crete. A graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, Department of Architecture, he is also an awarded architect (third prize in a Pan-Hellenic Architectural Competition for the Pan-Cretan Stadium).

He is also a painter who has presented his works in group exhibitions in Chania and Heraklion and in solo exhibitions all over Crete. Since 1998 he has been teaching linear and freehand drawing at the fine arts workshop “ARTio” that he opened in Heraklion.
