Martha Giannakaki – Papadaki was born in 1940 in Kalamata. She studied painting under Yiannis Moralis and engraving under K. Grammatopoulos at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1960 – 1965).

She has presented her work mainly in group exhibitions, including the Pan-Hellenic exhibitions (1963, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1987) and the Alexandria Biennale in 1973. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
