Gialouris Nikos
Nikos Gialouris was born in Chios in 1928. He is a self-taught painter and engraver. He presented his works in exhibitions in Athens (Nees Morfes art gallery in 1962, Panselinos gallery in Thessaloniki in 1976, Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund of Athens in 1977, a retrospective exhibition, etc.), and took part in the Pan-Hellenic exhibition of 1973 and the Alexandria Biennale in 1976 (bronze medal). In 1977, he settled permanently in Chios, where he exhibited his works in his workshop.
Nikos Gialouris died in Chios in 2003. The John S. Fafalios Foundation published an album with his drawings and engravings (2010). He was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
