Kukulaki Stella
Stella Kukulaki was born in Rethymnon, Crete in 1960. She studied engraving at the Florence School of Fine Arts after having been granted the “Angelo Badiani” scholarship. She has presented her work in solo exhibitions, among others, at the Basilica of St. Mark (1986), at the House of Cyprus, Athens (1993), in the USA in the context of the 34th National Convention (1995), at the AS Gallery (2016), etc.
She has also taken part in several group exhibitions, such as the Post-War Greek Engravings which was held at the National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum in 1988, the exhibition “Oikade” held at the Municipal Art Gallery of Rethymnon (2003), the Pan-Hellenic exhibition of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (2009-2010), etc. She has also participated in international events such as the 8th International Biennale held in Padru, Sardinia, Italy (2010), the 4th and 5th Beijing International Art Biennales (China, 2010 and 2012), and the 2014 Contemporary Greek Art exhibition held in Shanghai, China etc. She also taught for a long time in secondary education. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
