Painter and decorator Nikolaos Milionis was born in 1946 in Athens. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1969 – 1974) under Yiannis Moralis, and continued his studies at the École des Beaux-arts in Paris (1974 – 1977) studying painting under G. Singier and mosaic under R. Licata.

He specialized in designing models for fabrics, having attended classes at the École des Arts Décoratifs. He presented his works in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad. He taught silkscreen printing at the Athens Technological Educational Institute (since 1978). He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
