Moudatsos Kostis (Konstantinos Moudatsakis)

Kostis Moudatsos (Konstantinos Moudatsakis) was born in Heraklion, Crete in 1950. He graduated from the University of Thessaloniki (Law) and the University of Nancy, France (specialisation in History of Law). He also studied painting at the School of Fine Arts of Nancy (1976 – 1980).

From 1976 onwards he has been presenting his work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, with participations in major tributes such as the anniversary tribute “80 years of surrealism” which was held at the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Lefkada (2004), the exhibition “Frontiersmen of Europe” which was held at the Byzantine and Christian Museum of Athens, the exhibition “In Praise of the Olive” which was held at the central building of the Academy of Athens and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and the exhibition” “Common European Cultural Heritage” which was held in Poland and at the National Historical Museum of Sofia, Bulgaria (2008), etc. He has also worked as a children’s books illustrator and as a stage designer. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
