Perakis Takis (Konstantinos)
I consider myself a self-taught painter. In 1990, and for two years, I attended courses on engraving at the SCUOLA INTERNAZIONALE INCISORI in Rome. I am a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. Some of my works are exhibited in the Athens Municipal Art Gallery, the “Savvas Petrakis” Art Gallery of Keratokampos, the Heraklion Museum of Visual Art, and the “Olive Press” Museum of Contemporary Art, or form part of private collections.
Graphic arts
I opened a silkscreen printing workshop in Crete in 1979 and kept it until 1990. In this small workshop I produced artistic silkscreen prints (works of art). I have been working in the graphic arts sector since 1975. I have designed and created the layouts of catalogues, posters, book covers, etc. In 1999 I worked at Crete University Press. I hosted seminars on colour, aesthetics and interior architecture (2006 – 2008), for Oikonomotexniki SEMINARS S.A.
