Photographer Giannis Skoulas was born in Athens in 1957. He showed interest in photography in 1984.

For several years, he worked for the Athens Festival and for the Greek National Tourism Organisation. His work has been presented in many solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad (among others): Athens Photo Festival 09 (Agathi Art Gallery – 2009), the Nat Geo exhibition in Hämeenlinna, Finland (2013), the exhibition “Grecia e Magna Grecia” which toured in Southern Italy (2014), etc.
