Skouloudi – Bonatsou Manolia
Manolia Skouloudi – Bonatsou was born in Athens in 1947. She studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts under N. Nikolaou and stage design under V. Vassiliadis. She was granted a scholarship by the Academy of Athens and continued her studies at the École des Beaux Arts (painting and lithography) and at the École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d’art.
Her work has been presented in group exhibitions (including the Pan-Hellenic exhibitions of 1971, 1973 and 1975, the exhibition at the Salon de la Jeune Sculpture which was held in Paris in 1975 and the FIAP which was also held in Paris in 1976). Since 1979 her work has been presented in solo exhibitions in Thessaloniki and Athens. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and she works for the Archaeological Society. She has also worked as a stage designer and a book illustrator.
