Aliki Tournikioti was born in Athens. She started painting in 1978 as a self-taught painter.

Since then she has held solo exhibitions in Greece (Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Zakynthos, Nafplio, Kalamata, Lefkada, Thessaloniki, Hydra, Heraklion), Europe (Geneva, Nicosia, Madrid, Berlin, Florence, Rome), Turkey (Constantinople), Asia (Tokyo) and America (New York). Her artistic qualities present a constant development over the years.
