Sculptor Vassiliki Tsekoura was born in 1947 in Thessaloniki. She studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under N. Nikolaou and Y. Moralis (she graduated in 1957). Then, she continued her studies in mosaic in Paris at the École des Beaux-arts.

She presented her work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, mainly in France, where she participated, among others, in the Salon de Mai (1977, 1978, 1979, and 1983), the Salon de la Jeune Sculpture (1986), the FIAC (1992, 1993), the Art Basel (1992), the Belfort Sculpture Biennale (1985), the Sao Paulo Biennale (1989), etc.
