Theofilos Geredakis was born in 1952 in Vori, prefecture of Heraklion, Crete. He started as a self-taught painter before continuing as a guest student at the École des Beaux-arts in Paris (1982 – 1986) under L. Nallard and P. Alechinsky.

He has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and mainly in France, where he participated, among others, in the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris (1984, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990), the Salon de Mai (1985, 1988), the Saga Paris (1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993), etc. He is a member of the Maison des Artistes in France.
