Cretan Bull and Woman from Salamina (Koulouriotissa)

Angelos Stavroulakis was born in Rethymnon, Crete, in 1937. He studied typography and Book Art at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1961 – 1968) under K. Grammatopoulos and G. Papadakis. Since 1970, he has served as the artistic curator of the Hellenic Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises publications, and has also presented his work in solo exhibitions and group exhibitions, including the Pan-Hellenic Exhibitions (1967 – 1975). He also participated in the Alexandria Biennale (1974). He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
