Georgios Th. Georgiadis was born in Heraklion, Crete in 1934. In 1953 he left for France, where he studied painting at the Lyon National School of Fine Arts (1953 – 1956). He stayed in France, in Paris, taking painting lessons in various art workshops, and in 1959 he left for Germany to continue his studies in music at the Hamburg Academy of Music.
Following his return to Greece, he worked exclusively as a painter and presented his work in solo exhibitions (Nees Morfes 1969, Kreonidis gallery 1976, 1980, etc.) and in group exhibitions, including the Pan-Hellenic Exhibitions of 1971, 1973, 1975. He lived in Heraklion, teaching painting in his art workshop. Georgios Th. Georgiadis died in Heraklion, Crete in 2015. He was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
