The siege by Morosini

Kostas Varveris was born in Ermoupolis, Syros in 1938. He is a self-taught painter and has presented his work in many solo and group exhibitions.

He is also a writer and the International Society of Greek Writers and Artists awarded him with a gold medal for his overall work. He has also received awards for his paintings and poetic works. He has also served as member of the Board of the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Ermoupolis.
