For the first time to the public 59 paintings of the Heraklion Municipal Gallery
The Municipality of Heraklion, Department of Culture puts on exhibition for the first time 59 of the approximately 1000 paintings of the collection of the Heraklion Municipal Art Gallery. The exhibition spans a period from the early 20th century to late 1980s and the paintings have been classified according to the technique used and the Modern Greek Art movement they belong to.
The Art Exhibition of the Collection of Art Works of the Municipal Art Gallery of Heraklion “In house … in town”, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, July 6th at 20:30 at the Basilica of St. Mark’s.
