Andriadou Julia

Julia Andriadou was born in 1937 in Athens. She studied under Kostas Iliadis (Athens 1956 – 59) and then attended classes at the École des Beaux-arts in Paris (1959-60).

She has presented her work in solo exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki (since 1968) and in several group exhibitions, including the Pan-Hellenic exhibition (1960, 1963, 1967, 1971, 1987), the 3eme Biennale des Jeunes (Paris, 1963) and the exhibition La peinture Grecque 1968 – 88 (Brussels, 1988).

In 2011, Julia Andriadou’s archive was given to the Contemporary Greek Art Institute (ISET) and the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive Society (ELIA) of the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece (MIET). Also in 2011, she donated to the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece (MIET) some of the most representative works of her fifty-year career. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
