German painter Barbara Daling was born in 1953 in Dortmund. She studied graphic arts in Münster. She graduated in 1976 and since then she has been working as a graphic designer and designer and as a book illustrator. She also teaches drawing in her workshop.

She now lives between Crete and Germany and has presented her work in several solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
