Kiki Vathypetrou lives in Heraklion, Crete and she is best known as a musician and a piano teacher in the Hellenic Conservatory of Music & Arts (branch of Heraklion, Crete). From a young age she has been an amateur painter and her themes are mainly related to the Cretan nature and landscape.

Works of hers have been presented in various exhibitions, such as the exhibition at Desmos Art Gallery (1993) in Athens.
