KALMOUCHOS TAKIS

Takis Kalmouchos was born in 1895 in Argos. He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts (he graduated in 1921). He lived in Alexandria and Aegina and held solo exhibitions in Greece and Egypt. He also took part in group exhibitions, including the Omada Techni (Ομάδα Τέχνη) exhibition in 1931.

He also illustrated poems of Kavafis and he was a close friend of N. Kazantzakis. He died in Athens in 1961. He was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
