Dimitris Katsaprakakis was born in 1973 in Arkalochori, Crete. He is a mechanical engineer graduate of the National Technical University of Athens who specialises (he presented his thesis in 2007) in the field of renewable energy sources. He is a member of the Hellenic Photographic Society and has taken part with his works in photo contests and exhibitions.
