Cuba

Roberto Fabelo was born in Camagüey, Cuba in 1951. He is a painter and illustrator. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Arte and the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana.

He was a professor and a member of the jury in national and international visual arts contests. The Cuban state awarded him the medal of National Culture and the Alejo Carpentier medal for his outstanding contributions to arts.
