Eleni Karagianni was born in 1933 in Milies, Pelion. She enrolled in the Athens School of Fine Arts (1962 – 1970) and studied painting under G. Mavroidis, icon painting under K. Xinopoulos and mosaic under G. Voilas. She presented her work in solo and group exhibitions, including the Pan-Hellenic Exhibitions of 1969 and 1987.
She showed particular interest in the mosaic and was commissioned for major projects, such as mosaic replacements, all over Greece. Eleni Karagianni died in 1995. She was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
