Pandolfini Pino

Pino William Pandolfini was born in Gambettola, Italy in 1947. He studied in Bologna (1967 – 1969) under Marlo and Carlo Leoni in their Engraving and Sculpture workshops. He then studied painting at the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts (1969 – 1974).

From 1975 to 1977 he collaborated with the cultural centre “Alzaia” in Rome and took part in exhibitions and publications of art albums. In 1977 he settled in Greece and with his wife, engraver Dimitra Siaterli, they created the “Printmaking Centre” in Athens. In addition to engraving, he produces indoor and outdoor large-scale installations and sculptures.

From 1974 onwards, he has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad and in international events, such as the Intergrup, Essen (1980), the Intergrafik, Berlin (1984), the Arte Fiera, Bologna (1985), the European Large Format Printmaking, Dublin (1991), the Maastricht Biennale (1993), the Venice Biennale (2011), etc. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece, the Greek Printmakers’ Association, and a founding member of the “Printmaking Centre” Group.
